The Infinix Note 7 review begins with the biggest selling point of the Note 7, the presence of the latest MediaTek Helio G70 CPU, and its amazingly large display. The Infinix Note 7 features a 6.95-inch display and an amazing resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels.
From the RAM to the internal storage, this Infinix Note 7 review will be taking a look at all the best features and maybe some areas we feel Infinix might need to make improvements in the future.
Infinix Note 7 Review: Body
The first thing you’ll notice about the Infinix Note 7 is the design it sports. The fingerprint is now mounted on the side, not rear, and it comes in Black, Green, and Purple colours. The device comes in dimensions of 173.4 x 79.0 x 8.95mm. The Infinix Note 7 weighs 207 grams. The screen is Gorilla Glass 3, it features a plastic back and plastic frame.
Infinix Note 7 Display
The second most important thing for us on any device is the display quality. That is why we have this as the second item on our Infinix Note 7 review. This smartphone sports a display rated IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16m colours. Its screen is 6.95inch, 102.0cm2 with a screen-to-body ratio of ~84.7%.
The Infinix Note 7 comes with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, 20.5:9. So we have a PPI density of ~264. Another noteworthy thing about the device screen is that it can react to up to 5 fingers, with an inbuilt splash resistance.
Here is another point that will never go missing on our Infinix Note 7 review. We love the fact that the Note 7 comes with the latest Android 10 pie operating system based on XOS v6. The smartphone also sports a chipset that’s rated Mediatek Helio, G70 (12nm) and an octa-core (2 x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6 x 1.7 GHz Cortex-A55). The Infinix Note 7 also sports a GPU rated Mali-G52 2EEMC2.
Infinix Note 7 Memory
The Infinix Note 7 comes with a RAM of 6GB and internal storage of 128GB. You can also expand the memory to 256GB using a microSD slot. That for us is one thing that stands out in this Infinix Note 7 review. We were able to play powerful high graphic games, minimize and navigate around the device and our apps remained open, not even a single one closed. That is one thing I love about devices with good RAM, and Infinix didn’t disappoint.
Infinix Note 7 Camera
Many of you would scroll straight to the camera when reading this Infinix Note 7 review. I don’t blame you though, I always do the same. In fact, for me, a camera is one of the most important things about any phone I use.
The Note 7 comes with a quadruple lens…four cameras. One is rated 48MP, then 2MP, 2MP, and one VGA Main camera. The rear camera of the Infinix Note 7 is a single-lens 16MP camera.
Infinix Note 7 battery
The battery is another thing about this smartphone that we adore. While preparing to write this Infinix Note 7 review, we gave the 5000mAh battery a thorough test. We played powerful games, used the internet nonstop and even downloaded a lot of files while playing music at the highest volume. On a full charge, the Infinix Note 7 lasted for a whopping 39 hours, and on 2G, we saw the phone last for 75 hours. The smartphone also comes with an 18W Supercharge 3.0.
The Infinix Note 7 comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, its loudspeaker is located at the chin, below the display. The smartphone also sports active noise cancellation feature with a dedicated mic. DTS Audio technology and dual speakers all make the Infinix Note 7 sound, a killer.
The last point on our Infinix Note 7 review has to be the connectivity. The smartphone sports MicroUSB 2.0, USB on-the-go. The smartphone also comes with Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE. You also enjoy Wi-Fi direct and hotspot including GPS and FM radio on the Infinix Note 7.
Infinix Note 7 price in Nigeria, Kenya, and India
How much is the Infinix Note 7 and where to buy Infinix Note 7 in Nigeria? The Infinix Note 7 price in Nigeria is 77,000 Naira. The Infinix Note 7 is expected to retail in Nigeria, Kenya, and India at around $167. That is a pretty good price. As the phone gets to each country, you should check prices on Jumia, Konga, Amazon, Slot, and the others.
For the price, the Infinix Note 7 is one of the best smartphones in the middle to lower range of the market. We believe it’s worth the price, and with a monster battery of 5000mAh, this is one device to get.
