So we recently got our hands on this really nice monitor and were all too happy to do a review of the sleek screen. Here is my Dell S2422HZ review.

Dell S2422HZ Review
Dell has really hit it out of the park with their S2422HZ screen. If you’re searching for a stellar budget-friendly option for your video conferences, this one should definitely be on your radar.
One standout feature of this bad boy is its killer speakers. They pack a serious punch and deliver crystal-clear audio that’ll make all those virtual meetings sound like they’re happening in person.
Plus, with its built-in webcam, you won’t have to worry about attaching an external one or fumbling around trying to position it just right.
Now onto the colors – let me tell you, folks, they are fantastic straight out of the box.
Of all the Dell displays we’ve put through their paces in this category so far, the S2422HZ takes home first prize when it comes to color quality.
And even better? The price-performance ratio is top notch too.

All things considered, if you’re looking for an affordable video conference display that delivers impressive audio and stunning visuals without breaking the bank – look no further than Dell’s S2422HZ. It’s a true winner in my book!”

Monitor Performance
The IPS panel really helps keep things sharp, even when you tilt the screen.
And if you’re into casual gaming, you’ll be happy to know that it can handle a low 4-ms refresh rate. Just keep in mind that this isn’t a 4K monitor; it tops out at 1080 resolution.
I decided to test this bad boy out with my Dell G15 gaming laptop (which comes with a hefty 100-watt charger).
Although the monitor didn’t indicate that it was charging, I noticed my laptop battery draining slower than usual, which was neat.
Everything else worked like a charm too! Also gave it a spin with the new Surface Pro 8 tablet and found similar results – plus, the charging indicator actually kicked in on Windows.
One pretty cool feature I liked about this monitor is how easy-to-use its built-in webcam. You can lower it down for privacy when not using video calls or pop it up when ready to go live!

Video quality is top-notch under bright lighting conditions, but beware of grainy footage if your office has low light levels – might want to get yourself a ring light.
Last but not least are the speakers- while they work well enough for online meetings, they tend to sound tinny and lack bass, meaning music doesn’t come through very well.

Connectivity
I was blown away by how this screen managed to pack in some seriously impressive features without breaking the bank!
Trust me when I say that you’ll have everything you need with this one.

It’s got a killer lineup of connectivity options, including 1x HDMI, 1x Display Port, 1x Headphone out, 1x USB-C, and not just one but TWO USB 3.2 ports!

What’s really cool about it is that when you’re not using it, you can easily hide it away and then pop it out whenever you need to hop on a video call.

No more fiddling with cables or unplugging things! All it takes is the press of a button, and voila – your webcam is ready to go.
