A list of top 5 cheap gaming mouse with side buttons
A strip-down of all these above-mentioned gaming mice
In this section, I will be taking each one of our top 5 cheap gaming mouse with side buttons and carefully detail some of their key specs and features, helping you decide on which is an ideal option for you.
UtechSmart Venus – Best Gaming Mouse with 12 Side Buttons
The UtechSmart Venus Gaming Mouse comes with a better sensor than many of its alternatives, and its sure one great gaming mouse. This mouse comes with smaller thumb rest, no pinky rest, and it’s a perfect fit for MMO. To start with this Mouse, you will be going through the configuration process, and it seems like one of the most well-written software configurations I have seen on a gaming mouse.
The English was clean and easily understandable; and all through the process, the software didn’t crash. You can easily change settings like button mapping, acceleration, pointer speed, scroll speed, double click speed, and polling rate.
You can only assign up to five profiles, which, for me is pretty limiting since most gamers play a lot more games. The one thing I did love about the mouse when speaking of the profiles, is its ability to save and load profiles when you need each.
Redragon M908 – Best Gaming Mouse with Programmable Buttons
The Redragon M908 Impact is probably the heaviest gaming mouse we have on this list, but it’s also one of the most versatile gaming mice in its price range. It sports 5 profiles which you can save and easily load from as you play your games. It sports 12 buttons on the side, so switching between in-game spells and inventory items is a breeze. You also get a left mouse click button.
If you wish to carry out any main customizations and macro creation, you would have to do that through the software that comes with the gaming mouse. For most MMOs, the on-the-fly DPI buttons aren’t very necessary, but if you just want a mouse that can work for MMO and FPS, Redragon M908 Impact is an amazing choice.
The 5 profiles we mentioned earlier each have a dedicated lighting color, so identification becomes a breeze, especially since many gamers prefer gaming in a not-very-lighted (dark) environment.
Overall, I believe this mouse performs well, and it is excellent when we look at its design, size, and shape. The only thing I still didn’t like was the weight.
PICTEK GEPC034AB – Best Cheap Lightweight Gaming Mouse
If you are looking for a gaming mouse that also works well with things like spreadsheets, editing, and copy/pasting, this is one mouse to try. It comes with macro programmable buttons, so that contributes. In addition to the buttons on the sides, I also noticed that the two buttons that look like an arrow are pretty easy to program as you see fit.
You’re also able to adjust your mouse sensitivity, and you get 5 DPI settings which you can easily adjust by moving the sliding bar at increments of 500, 750, 1000, 1200, and so on until you get to DPI 7200.
I loved that it is lightweight, and it slides so smoothly, I also loved that the buttons are responsive to the touch and are placed ergonomically. Lastly, I want to chip in that this mouse with side buttons can record macros.
PICTEK PTPC257AB – Best Cheap RGB Gaming Mouse
The PICTEK RGB Gaming Mouse comes with one of the best software of a gaming mouse. It was also very large, so it filled my hands so well. I loved that the weight of the mouse can be customized as you want, and having it give off not too much light is just perfect for gamers in dark rooms.
The wires that come with this mouse are braided nylon, which might give slight hints that the mouse is designed to last for some time, and you won’t have to worry about having the wires get tangled.
The mouse sports a PixArt PMW3327 sensor, so that contributes to the improvements we have seen so far. The upper surface is anti-grip, and the polling rate is 1000Hz. I loved how the hump is designed towards the back of the mouse and that helps me get a better palm grip.
Overall, I think the PICTEK RGB Gaming Mouse is an amazing mouse for its price range. Also, it surely qualifies to be added to this list of cheap gaming mouse with side buttons.
TRELC – Best Ergonomic Lightweight Gaming Mouse
I’d like to start the review of this product by pointing out that while the software is handy and will help you have all your configurations set up, it does require a bit of a learning curve. But as soon as you get an understanding of how it operates, you should be just fine.
If you need a vertical mouse with side buttons that can handle serious gaming, then the TRELC Ergonomic Mouse is the perfect fit.
From the test, as soon as you download the software, you should be able to dial the DPI from the minimum, which is 400 as high as 10000 in increments of 100. I was also able to remap all the buttons as I want, and that’s including the DPI toggle button.
I loved how the wheel is notched, it sure helps when swapping weapons. I loved the handgrip texture, neatly rubbered, so it’s not rough enough to hurt your palms, and not slippery even when you sweat on your palms. I did feel like that the thumb doesn’t have good access to the forward button if your hands are in a natural position, so I didn’t like that about the mouse.
Overall, this is perfect for anyone who might have wrist pains when gaming or just about anyone who loves using a vertical mouse when gaming. So that’s my look at 5 amazing cheap gaming mouse with side buttons. I’d love to hear your thoughts and questions in the comments.
