No Apple AirPods model is waterproof, however the most recent model, the AirPods Pro is water-resistant and thus, has a water-resistant rating.

AirPods Pro has an official water-resistant rating of IPX4 which means that it is resistant to water splashes from any direction. They have sweat and water-resistant coating on them. They won’t get damaged from water splashes but cannot resist sustained, low-pressure water jet spray nor can they be submerged in water. You can wear them when exercising but not for water sports.
