eMeet Luna – Best Bluetooth Speaker with Microphone for Conference Calls

One important feature you should look out for when picking any of these Bluetooth speakerphones for conference calls is noise reduction. The eMeet Luna Conference Speaker comes equipped with a speech enhancement and background noise reduction technology. It also comes with three microphones, 360-degree pickup, and can be connected to a daisy chain cable to be used for small to medium or large meetings. It is compatible with different platforms and comes with AUX, dongle, USB, and Bluetooth support. It is also easy on the eyes, portable, and can easily fit into any setting – home or office.

The eMeet Luna provides clear sound both ways and for both one-on-one and group meetings. The sound remains clear even from about 7ft away. I like that it pairs easily and rather fast and the dongle fits in the back of the speaker so no need to worry about losing it. I also appreciate the buttons on the Luna, they improve user experience. However, the LED light for the mute/unmute button is too small to easily notice if you are muted or not.

The Luna provides about 6-8 hours of talk time but one thing I didn’t like is that it does not have an indicator or warning for low battery. When the battery dies, it just disconnects. Another thing I noticed is that the software cannot be updated with a Mac, you would need a windows PC for that.

Anker Powerconf S3 – Best Speakerphone for Large Conference Room

The second of our best Bluetooth speakerphones for conference calls is the Anker PowerConf S3. This speaker provides you with six microphones and a 360-degree pickup to cover your meeting space. It also provides speech enhancement, noise cancellation, balanced volume, enhanced voice pickup, and 24-hour call time. The Anker is easy to set up and can be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth, or USB. It also comes with a traveling case and I liked that you can connect your phone to it for a quick charge.

The buttons on the Anker are touch-sensitive which sounds cool but is quite frustrating because you don’t know if a button was pressed or not. The speaker provides loud and clear audio and easy connectivity. Note: you cannot connect your phone and PC to it at the same time. You can with Bluetooth but that comes with some performance issues.

Compared to the Luna, the Anker displays a bright red color when it is muted and it displays a blue color to indicate where your voice is being picked up. The app can be used for some settings like switching from single user to multiple user mode and for updating the software. One downside about the app is that there is no desktop app and you have to be connected to the speaker via the device that the app is on. So if you’re using the speaker with your PC, you would have to connect it to your phone to use the app and then reconnect to your computer, which is a huge drag.

Jabra Speak 510 – Best Speakerphone for iPhone and Android Phones

The Jabra Speak 510 makes it to our list of the best Bluetooth speakerphones for conference calls because of its impressive noise cancellation and sound quality. It provides a clear audio experience even when standing 8ft away. It is very portable, comes with a nice pouch for traveling, and is compatible with different platforms and devices via Bluetooth and USB. The features I liked best are the touch screen buttons and LED lights indicating battery levels and when you are muted.

One thing I noticed is that the Jabra Speak 510 doesn’t easily pick up other voices, it is more suitable for personal or one-on-one meetings. The mic on the speaker is placed in a single location and voices behind the speaker often sound distant but still clear enough. The speaker charges quickly and provides about 12 hours of call time. You can also update the software via the desktop app either on a Mac or Windows.

Anker PowerConf – Best Speakerphone for Home Office

The fourth on my list of the best Bluetooth speakers for conference calls is the Anker PowerConf. Just like the Anker PowerConf S3, it comes with six microphones to pick up voices from any direction, balanced volume, speech enhancement, and 24-hour battery life. You can connect this device to your phone or laptop via Bluetooth or USB. It also provides an audio jack for headphones.

The Anker PowerConf also lets you charge other devices using USB, this is also a similar feature in the S3. The sound quality and nice cancellation technology are great, it is easy to set up and charges quickly. The status indicators on the Anker PowerConf are also very clear and easily understandable, you can clearly see incoming calls, mute status, and the mic that’s picking up your voice. It is comfortably sized and the buttons are reasonably placed to avoid any accidents.

It also provides a fair enough Bluetooth range and multi-connectivity. I would not recommend connecting it to multiple devices, it doesn’t always work properly. You should note that the automatic gain control will have this speakerphone picking up sounds from the next room. Finally, this Anker also doesn’t come with a desktop app, you would need to download the app on your phone.

Logitech 980000741 P710e – Best Speakerphone for Laptop

The most impressive feature of the Logitech 980000741 P710e which puts it on the list of the best Bluetooth speakerphones for conference calls is the device stand. It delivers shake-free or hands-free video calls by providing a device stand for your phone or tablet. This speakerphone also provides a clear audio experience on both sides, echo cancellation, it can be connected via Bluetooth and USB and it delivers up to 15 hours of talk time. It is very portable and comes with a cord storage in the bottom, which I liked.

The Logitech 980000741 P710e delivers great sound and can pick voices from 7-8ft away. It is durable, aesthetically pleasing, displays clear LED lights, and gives a great sound. However, when used outdoors or in large spaces, the audio is not as loud as indoors or in smaller spaces. Another thing you should note is that the device stand is not quite big enough to take a phone with a pouch.

Conclusion

The Bluetooth speakers for conference calls mentioned above were carefully selected considering a few factors, including, audio performance, compatibility, battery life, noise cancellation, and more. Any one of these speakerphones will satisfy your need and make meetings easier for you. Some of them can even be used for music and gaming.
